SERIES AWARDS/POINTS

OVERVIEW

  • Series awards will be given at the end of the season. There will not be individual prizes awarded after each race.

  • Only the first 4 races are counted for points this season. The final race of the season (Ski Town Uphill) is still a timed race but will not count towards a racers season point totals.

  • In order for a racer to be eligible for series awards, they must have competed in at least 2 of the 4 series races.

  • Only 3 of the 4 races will count for a racer's season total. If a racer competes in all 4 point earning races, the lowest scoring race will be dropped from the cumulative season total. In the event a race is cancelled, one race time will still be thrown out.

  • If a racer changes divisions during the season, they will not carry any earned points with them to the new division for cumulative season totals.
